Alex Cano

I grew up in a small farming town in California, then followed work around the country — Arizona, Seattle, three years in New York — and moved back west this May.

Somewhere in there I co-founded Refugee Code Academy and spent nine years at Amazon, most recently running the team that measured how the company affected people. Now I work on rockets — the AI side of how they get built, and how the parts get there.

Outside work it’s the gym, good food, friends, and figuring out where to go next.
